they way you project yourself has a big effect with your happiness. If your not comfortable with how you look or how you act towards people your most likely to be less happy

The relationshop between self-image andd happieness in both this story and life are similar. Self-image and happiness can be hard for a human to have both, people have self-image but not all the time have happiness with their self-image. In both the story and life this expierence happens with people.

At first Georgiana was very happy with herself. She did not mind the birthmark upon her face, and she grew to accept it. Once her husband admitted that he thought of it as a flaw, her happiness went down. She was unhappy with her own self image and worried too much. To please everybody else and to make herself happier she tried to change. Much like real life people are too over-worried about their own self-image which leads to less happiness because they cant be themselves.

before alymer came along georgina was 100% happy with herself, but when she married alymer he tried to change her. being a good wify she did it for her husband. so the relationship is more of like...if you like the way you look your happy, but if someone points something out, then your not.

The relationship between self image and happiness in the story is that one is only as happy as they choose to be. Obsession with self image will ultimatley lead to unhappiness and it is better to accept things for what they are and move on.

The Relationship between self image and happiness in the real world is exactly the same. One should not let anothers interpretation of how one looks dictate how happy one is.

In the story self-image and happiness relate directly. When georgiana becomes aware of the flaw in her image she becomes unhappy. When she realizes this flaw can be fixed she is very willing to go through with the procedure.

In real life peoples attitudes tend to coincide with how they veiw themselves. If one is happy with how they look then they are more likely to be a positive person.

If you are happy with the way you look then you will be happy...simple as that.

In real life and this story happiness and self image are very similar. Self-image reflects from a person's happiness. If someone is not happy with their image, it affects their happiness. In this story Alymer and Georgiana's happiness is affected by her image. He is not fully happy because she is not perfect, and she is unhappy because he doesnt like her birthmark.

I think this story displays the connection between self-image and happiness well. Georgiana was happy with herself until Aylmer said otherwise. She became unhappy because of what someone else thought of her. How people see you has an affect on how you see yourself.

The relationship between self-image and happiness is quite similar. If you are not happy with yourself, then you cant be happy at all. Georgiana's self-image was fine before her husband mentioned his obsession with the birthmark. And day after day, her self esteem got lower and lower as her husband kept making remarks about it

Self image will always have an effect on everyone's life. Depending on the person, it will bother some more and some less. The idealistic views mankind has built on how to judge "beauty" have always been idolized by humans. Just as beauty is idolized, happiness is too. The way people view you may have a great effect on your happiness. People tend to become unhappy when they are made fun of or talked about in a negative manner, but they become happy when they get a compliment. The same happens in the story; when Georgiana realizes that her husband finds her birthmark to be ugly, she starts to shudder and even faints at some point. All of this is because she feels as if her husband is judging her nonstop. Her husband's opinion grows on her and her self esteem level obviously lowers. The shuddering and fainting represent her unhappiness, her fear of being judged, and her fear of being unattractive (since her whole life she has been 'perfect').

The relationship between the two is rather similar. By being confortable with yourself, you are always happy and glad to be who you are. However, in the story Georgiana isn't happy because of this birthmark, but by changing her appearance for her husband she somehow convinced herself that she would be happy. In ordinary life, some people need to convince themselves that they are happy, but then they end up screwing life! If one person asks you to change, and it is REALLY impossible then why would you want to! It just would leave you into a relationship where only one of you are happy rather than both partners.

The relationship between self-image and happiness is how you feel about yourself. If you feel good, happy, about yourself you portray yourself as a content person. In the story Georgiana is happy and shows herself as beautiful. When her husband finds something wrong with her she is unhappy and self-conscious and portrays herself as ugly.

The relationship between self-image and happiness in the story is that the only way Alymer would really be happy with his wife was if he changed her self-image. In real life a lot of people are like this too, they will change their self-image by getting plastic surgery or other crazy things to make them happy.

In the story, and in most cases in real life, self-image is a direct correlation to happiness in everybody's mind. If you see a beautiful woman, or a handsome man, you often find yourself thinking that they must have a great life, when it can often be anything but that. In this story, it turns out that neither Aylmer or Georgiana have a great life because they are tortured by the birthmark.

Self-image and happiness are related in this story because it shows how as long as you are content with yourself, it shouldn't matter what other people think, and it certainly shouldn't affect your self-image. In the case of Georgiana, her self-image was changed due to her husbands actions, and she even goes as far as to have her birthmark removed to reach happiness, which ultimately results in her death.

The relationship between self-image and happiness are that they both show the way you show and present yourself to the world.

For self-image, you have to beleive in yourself and if people judge you or say soemthing, you shouldn't let their opinions bother you, because if you do, then you won't be happy. If you have a positive outlook on life, and acceot yourself for the way you are you will live the happiest life you can possibly live.

The relatioship between self-image in the story and in real life are pretty much the same. Most people are not happy with their self-image so its hard for them to have happiness, where if your happy with the way you look then you are probly happy with your self image.

The relationship between self image and happiness are still true today. If you are satisfied with your image you are happy, if you aren't satisfied with your image you are unhappy and obsessed with trying to better yourself.
