Aylmer's fatal flaw is that he feels the desire to correct what nature has made "incorectly" and beautify what nature has made. Instead of allowing nature's imperfections to exist as they are, alymer chose to play god and fix what he deemed wrong. This is shown when Georgiana dies following alymer's removing of her birthmark. As a penalty of trying to perfect his wife, Alymer is forced to suffer through death and loss. As a result of his desire to improve the beauty of his wife, alymer ends up wifeless and alone.
Aylmer's fatal flaw is that his science over-rules his life. He let it take over and became much obsessed with it. Essentially at the end it ruins his truest love...his wife and therefor is his fata flaw.
Georgiana's fatal flaw would be her birth mark. Not in a sense that it is ugly, but that it is a part of her. Once she decides to remove it she dies, therefore her obsession with her birthmark and self-image was her fatal flaw.
Aylmers fatal flaw is that he wants and needs Georgiana to be perfect. He believes that he possess the power to "fix" nature. Aylmer feels he is greater than nature and God themself, he has relized God's "mistake" and is prepared to erase it to make the perfect person. This was Aylmer's fatal flaw because he lost the women he loved most.
Georgiana's "fatal flaw" was her birthmark. The more she thought about her birthmark the more she hated the sight of it. As the story went on, the flaw Aylmer saw, soon became a flaw in Georgiana's eyes too. This is the "fatal flaw" because it caused her her death. *Wesley*
Alymers flaw is that he is trying to conquer nature by using science. He is trying to get rid of the tiny imperfection upon his wifes face with his tools and chemicals.

Aylmer's fatal flaw is that he is never satisfied. whenever he reaches a goal he needs to go a step farther. He also feels he needs to fix flaws of nature which ultimatly causes him to lose his now "perfect" wife.
